Lawrence F. Walker is a member of Cozen O'Connor's Subrogation and Recovery Department. Larry investigates and prosecutes recovery cases involving fire, water, construction defects, inland marine, maritime, and transportation cases resulting in significant property damage and losses. Larry is admitted to practice law in multiple state and federal courts across the Northeast. Where third-party tortfeasors are responsible and meaningful opportunities for recovery exist, Larry prosecutes claims in an effort to recover the monies paid for repairs, emergency expenses, damaged personal and business property, and lost income. Larry has tried numerous cases to verdict and arbitration awards during his years of practice.

Larry also represents contractors, builders and developers in both plaintiff and defense matters involving allegations of construction defects.

Larry received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in 1993. Larry received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden while working full-time as a claims handler for a prominent insurer. Larry is a “lifer” having been with the subrogation department at Cozen O'Connor since becoming an attorney more than 20 years ago.

Larry has been a trustee of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation for more than 11 years and currently holds the position of secretary. Larry also regularly handles pro bono matters including most recently, partnering with the Philadelphia Innocence Project in the representation of Harold Staten. Harold Staten was exonerated on February 5, 2024 after spending nearly 40 years in prison for an arson that was not a crime at all.
