Michael C. Pomeroy

Michael focuses his practice on intellectual property and commercial litigation matters. He is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience representing clients at the District Court, as well as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and in appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Before joining the firm, Michael was a partner at a boutique litigation firm based in Dallas where he represented plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving patent infringement, copyright infringement, breach of contract, and theft of trade secrets in all phases of litigation, including multiple trials.

Michael also has experience in Inter Partes Review practice in front of the PTAB. Michael has been recognized among the top 100 PTAB attorneys in the country for two consecutive years through peer review journals, including a distinction as a top 10 PTAB attorney for patent owners based upon his success record in 2024. 

Michael earned his J.D. cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2017. He received his Master of Science in biology, magna cum laude, from The University of Texas in 2013, where he studied cognitive neuroscience and conducted research in neurodegenerative diseases. Michael also attended undergrad at the University of Texas, graduating with his Bachelor of Science in neurobiology in 2011.
