Gina Maisto Smith will present “Hot Topics in Student Affairs: Counting Down the Top Ten” at the NACUA 2024 Annual Conference. Gina will discuss how to navigate student mental health issues, including high acuity and neurodiversity. She will address student physical and emotional safety concerns connected to and arising from campus activism/advocacy. The panel will also explore the role of supporting staff who routinely confront high-stress, high-volume concerns and share effective practices, recommendations, and resources.
