This webinar will discuss arson and its relation to insurance coverage and insurance investigations. The presenters will address what constitutes arson, the extent of arson as insurance fraud, and the tools and strategies for investigating arson in the insurance context. The discussion will consider the cooperation between insurers and law enforcement, as well as the critical role of experts. The presenters will also focus on arson in relation to various common policy provisions including the intentional acts exclusion, the fraud and concealment conditions, and the innocent co-insured/innocent spouse.
