Chris Dodson and Ben Mishkin will present “Privacy Regulation: The Current Landscape” for the Iowa State Bar Association’s Business Law Section. Steve Dickinson will moderate the session. Ben and Chris will provide an update on the data protection statutory landscape in the EU/UK and the U.S. They will cover the EU’s GDPR and look at Iowa’s new privacy law. Finally, the program will look at the current federal statutory and regulatory framework related to data privacy and data protection in the U.S.
