Gary Gassman will moderate a panel and provide opening remarks at the ABA TIPS Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee Midyear Program in Phoenix, Arizona. He will moderate the panel titled, “Identifying & Combatting Unconscious Bias, Implicit Bias and Microaggressions in the Workplace.” This panel will identify and discuss key biases that affect decision-making, and examine the scientific evidence and real-world situations to explain how such biases can impact our behavior towards others in the workplace. The panel’s goal is to educate professionals on how to recognize these biases and re-sensitize us by neutralizing the biases and microaggressions that unconsciously arise.
