Deborah Winokur and Tom Wilkinson will speak on the panel, “Developments in the Unauthorized Practice of Law” at the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs 2022 Annual Meeting & Education Conference in Philadelphia. The panel will discuss the significant developments in and around unauthorized practice of law (UPL). The panel will also provide an update on the corollary issue of non-lawyers participating in law firms or providing limited legal services. The panel will review recent regulatory developments in several states, including Utah, Arizona, Florida and California.
