Brian Shaw and Mark Radtke will present on "Subchapter V – Observations from Our Basements" at the Chicago Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section Virtual Meeting. The panelists will discuss their practical observations about the first nine months of Subchapter V of the Bankruptcy Code, including, (a) is it really a “simpler” chapter 11 and how to manage your client’s expectations about the process, (b) is it always the best choice for a small business debtor, (c) what happens in March 2021, and (d) other issues nobody thought of in Congress (e.g., balloting, what balloting?).
