Barrett Kiernan, of Cozen O'Connor's Subrogation and Recovery department, will present a webinar with Matt Scott from Guardian Digital Forensics titled, Ethical Issues and Techology. The webinar presenters will discuss how to obtain and use electronically stored information (ESI), and the ethical issues presented by the availability and use of ESI in litigation. The presenters will discuss the use of social media information and the applicable rules in obtaining and storing the information. The discussion will address metadata, what it is, how it can be used, and the rules that should be considered when sending and receiving ESI with metadata. The presenters will provide an overview of the cast amount of information and data that can be retrieved from cell phones and cellular systems and how the information is accessed.
